Update 5

Well today's definitely been the most productive for me in terms of animation. I've animated about 1000 Frames in one day, a new record for me. I've been trying out new ways of animating without Minifigures, but still with LEGO. I could actually find myself making a series with it, I'm so really proud of it.

Apart from that not much. Getting iStopmotion (Hopefully) and my desk tri-pod tomorrow. Cannot wait!! :D I've also created a new YouTube account called OnionAnimations, where I'll be posting all of my animations, and all other stuff in that field of art.

Not much else I have to say, I want everything on the down low as much as possible, so I don't get copiers, however I would like to thank the BuilderBrothers, Daniel (FilmsByDan), and Bodville for their inspiration. You guys rock! Talk to you guys on Tuesday. Bye!

Update 4

Right so, welcome to my 4th update. I'm amazed I've kept these updates going for about 4 days now, unlike me. Well today has been very unproductive so far. I took about 60 or so photos this morning that turned out rather badly. But I'm going to try again tonight anyway and hope I get better results.

I'm in desperate need of my desk Tri-pod which I'll be getting for my birthday, and iStopmotion which should be arriving in the post on Monday (Should). My knee's killing me after I whacked it today, i think it's jarred actually, so this may effect some of my progress.

That's it really, "Video" update coming soon on my YouTube channel, LegOpinions, so look forward to that. Getting really excited about finishing Guilt though. It'll be my longest and most daring brickfilm as yet, and will be released early september when Mitch (DAD Organizer) gives the go-ahead. In the mean time I should have a few tests I've done whilst working on the project, but that'll only be released later so no other participants copy anything. I'm fussy, I know.

That's today's news and the like. If you're a reader or a viewer remember to follow me or comment, I'll appreciate any interest given. So I'll talk to you tomorrow then!

Update 3

Well today's been pretty productive I guess. I'm wrecked after the tiding yesterday so I decided to rest a bit, however I still managed to re-animate the Nightmare scene, which is fantastic from what I know, but the flipping iStopmotion still hasn't arrived so it'll be hard to tell what all the clips are like until I actually get it. Hoping it'll arrive on Monday though.

Looking forward to Septemberfest too, which Sean (Brickhead Studios) is hosting on BricksInMotion with particular good prizes. I'll be entering that for sure, just waiting for the theme (Hope it's something good). Check it out under the Contests & Festivals section.

As for my DAD entry, I've finally got a few promotional things together for it, including a poster, and I got a title so people can refer to it more easily. Hopefully I'll all the animation done by the 25th, and then I'll be able to edit it in time for my brother to do the music. It is going to be silent and in B&W, however I won't let down on the sound effects or backing tracks. Hopefully people will get it. I'd like to thank Mitch (Rycroftfilms) for his amazing organization of the contest and the prize giving. It'll be my first contest to enter, and with the way he''s presented it I feel compelled to do a lot of work with my entry.

I'll do more animating tonight, another hour or two would be good. Anyways, so just before I go I'll give you a look at my Mini poster I've created, which looks good to me anyway, however nothing special as I'm still learning Photoshop, and only really know the basics of cropping, colouring, and different brushes.

All for today, hope you're all looking forward to it, and don't forget to leave any comments, all would be appreciated. Maybe I'll have a trailer or something for next Tuesday, I'll see what the rules are with Mitch, the afore mentioned organizer. Talk to you guys tomorrow. Bye.

EDIT: images aren't working for me, sorry. I'll hopefully have the problem fixed by tomorrow.

Update 2

Not much animation today, I've been working my back off tiding and rearranging my room. I've spent almost 10 hours on it and I'm puffed! Still, it's really looking good now and I've managed to put my LEGO in new storage spaces (Almost). I'm wrecked now, but I'll still be posting some videos and photos of my set-up soon, so look forward to that.

That's it really, I now have a proper desk and working space (At last) and I did some animating on DAD entry yesterday, so I guess a day's break from Brickfilming won't cause too much harm. Talk to you tomorrow, bye.

Supplies

Just been out today and managed to get myself some brickfilming loot. Included was the world's smallest Tri-pod (Birthday present!) and some extremely large poster sized white and black card for expanses, etc. All is looking well anyway, hoping to get the nightmare scene done later today now with possibly the black card, which'll look good hopefully.

I should be posting a teaser for it soon, once the iStopmotion arrives, which actually is supposed to come on the 20th to the 24th, so it could be a few days. Pity. Any title suggestions for a title?

Update

Well currently I stand with 1000 frames taken for the new film, totaling in at about 55 Seconds at 15 frames per second. Still waiting for iStopmotion to arrive before I can properly export anything or save it, however it leaves me time to animate - and speaking of which, I just animated the first scene (I think) and it looks great. The green-screen is fantastic for keeping away the flickers I've found, but I still have yet to actually try it for it's actual purpose.

I am beginning to get worried though, because I had two ideas before I stuck with this (Bald People and Bloodied Nightmares) so I used up a lot of time, and with the deadline dawning on me I feel a little pushed. I'm using the time to animate though and just finish that part of production. All going well I should have finished most things up by the end of August.

Then from there I need Music, which hopefully my Brother will be able to do, but 5 days is a short time to do it in, so we'll have to see. The title is still in construction, but I do have a tag-line, which is Irish for "The treachery returns to the betrayer", anyways, that's the least of my worries. Hopefully another update after my next animation spree. Bye.
